AlviBeauty
We built the AlviBeauty client and business apps — a dual-sided beauty service platform that lets customers book salons, doctors, and specialists in seconds, while giving beauty businesses a full CRM, scheduling, analytics, and loyalty system.
Booking beauty services in Ukraine and across Eastern Europe was still largely done via phone calls, DMs, and paper appointment books — leaving both customers and salon owners frustrated. No single platform combined discovery, instant booking, and full business management.
We built AlviBeauty as two apps in one ecosystem: a client app for instant booking across beauty, medical, and wellness services; and a full business CRM for salons and specialists covering scheduling, client database, staff management, analytics, and a loyalty engine.
How we built it
Dual-Sided Research
Conducted research with 40 beauty salon owners and 60 clients across Kyiv and Lviv. Mapped the booking journey from both sides — identifying the key friction points: no-show management, last-minute cancellations, and manual reminder calls.
Client App Design
Designed for one-click booking with no calls needed. Key features: service browsing by category and location, specialist portfolios with photos and reviews, instant booking with calendar slot selection, and a 500-point welcome bonus to drive first-time conversions.
Business CRM Development
Built the business app as a comprehensive management suite: a visual appointment calendar, client database with before/after photos and visit history, staff profiles with custom salary structures, and financial analytics.
Marketing & Loyalty Engine
Built a promotions module allowing businesses to create first-visit discounts of up to 90%, run SMS campaigns, and manage a bonus loyalty system. Integrated a Telegram bot so clients can book directly without downloading the app.
Launch & Scale
Launched in Ukraine with a phased rollout starting in Kyiv. Onboarding flow takes under 5 minutes for new businesses. Expanded to multiple countries with new markets added via in-app country settings.
AlviBeauty launched on both the App Store and Google Play with strong adoption from beauty salons, barbershops, cosmetologists, and medical specialists. The dual-app model created a self-reinforcing network: every new business listing attracts new client bookings, which in turn attract more businesses.
AlviBeauty replaced our paper appointment book, our Excel spreadsheet, and our Instagram DMs. Everything is in one place now.
